Detailed specifications
Inflatable adapters are the ideal solution when winding or unwinding rolls with different tube diameters using only one shaft. Using the clamping flange, the adapter is simply and firmly mounted on the shaft. After being inflated through the inflation valve, the adapter increases its diameter and the rubber body perfectly clamps the sleeve. The big advantage of adapters is that you don't have to buy expensive unwinding shafts for each sleeve diameter. They are easy to handle and very easy to use.
There are models with a stop flange so the operator always knows how deep to insert the shaft with the adapters, and models with an air connection between the adapters to inflate both adapters through one valve.
To increase the required load capacity or torque, it is possible to connect a larger number of adapters in series.
