The carbon material is characterized by extra low weight and excellent strength. Compared to steel, it provides twice the strength at one-fifth the weight. Compared to metals, it effectively absorbs energy. Extra low weight and moment of inertia enable higher machine speeds, reduced vibrations, increase product quality, and thus overall productivity. We apply the carbon material to long guide rollers with a large diameter for the paper industry, as well as to extra light rollers for the extrusion of plastic film, dancers, pressure rollers for rewinders, calendering rollers, clamping expansion rollers, etc.
