The installation consisted of measuring the current state and designing a structural solution. The solution included a new cutting system with circular knives. The lower knives are driven by knife shafts, the upper knives with circular holders with springs are manually pressed against the lower knives. The system automatically synchronizes the speed of the line with the peripheral speed of the lower knives. The entire structure was designed to minimize the time required for installation of the device.
Installation went smoothly and took 4 hours including mechanical work. The customer is satisfied with the solution and is considering the reconstruction of other machines.
