A Swedish machine manufacturer needed to supplement their cutting machine with a hydraulic unwind stand that can unwind rolls of material weighing up to 1700 kg and a maximum width of 1650 mm.
Our designer first designed a complete stand design with a solid steel structure and two arms for holding the roll. This was followed by a series of in-depth meetings of the design departments of both companies, where we tried together to identify the minor shortcomings of the stand, preventing full compatibility with the cutting stand, which had been manufactured in Sweden so far. The following weeks were marked by the re-design and subsequent construction of the machine, which we then sent in mid-July.
Basic parameters of the hydraulic unwinding stand:
- massive steel construction
- two arms for holding the roll, with hydraulic lift and linear feed, equipped with pneumatic clamping heads for clamping the roll with an inner diameter of 6" (152 mm)
- guide roller for guiding the material to the rewinding and cutting machine
- easy button remote control
